Industrial and Marine Valves, Actuators and Automation
Loire Marine Supply supplies valves, actuators and automation accessories for marine, energy, chemicals, water and industry
Looking for a butterfly valve, ball valve, safety valve or a ready-to-install automated valve? Loire Marine Supply supplies the full package: the valve, its pneumatic, electric or hydraulic actuator, and the control accessories.
Through a network of European manufacturers and valve automation centres, we supply valves to DIN/EN (PN), ANSI/ASME (Class) and JIS (K) standards, standard or custom, from more than 50 brands, for marine, offshore, energy, oil and gas, chemicals, water and process industries.
From Montoir-de-Bretagne, in the heart of the Loire estuary industrial area (France), we deliver to ships, yards, plants and industrial sites in France and worldwide.
Send us your reference, data sheet or specification and we will find the right valve.
DIN, ANSI and JIS standards: the right valve for your pipework
A valve must match the standard of the existing flanges and pipework. We supply all three main standard families:
Certified hull valves for marine use
For ships, we also supply certified hull valves: sea inlet valves, overboard discharge valves and shipside valves. They are certified by the classification society required for your vessel (Bureau Veritas, DNV, Lloyd's Register, ABS…) and delivered with their certificates.
Tell us the vessel's classification society, the size, pressure rating, material and end connection.
Actuators: automate your valves
Pneumatic actuators
Single-acting (spring return, normally open or normally closed) or double-acting, in aluminium or technopolymer. Standard ISO 5211 and NAMUR (VDI/VDE 3845) interfaces to fit the actuator to the valve and its accessories without adaptation.
Electric actuators
24 V AC/DC, 230 V AC or 400 V three-phase supply depending on the model, for on/off or modulating duty, including on sites without compressed air.
Hydraulic actuators and gearboxes
Hydraulic actuators for high torque and emergency shutdown valves, and manual worm gearboxes for large valves.
Ready-to-install automated valves: we can supply the valve, actuator and accessories assembled and set, for direct installation on the pipework.
Control and automation accessories
Brands we supply
We supply valves, actuators and accessories from more than 50 European, American and Asian manufacturers, listed here by speciality:
Marine valves
Industrial isolation valves
Ball valves and oil & gas valves
Control valves
On ships built in Asia, flanges are often to JIS: a DIN or ANSI valve will not fit directly. Tell us the standard and pressure rating of your flanges, or send a photo of the valve's plate or markings.
Valve types we supply
Process and special valves
Actuators and controls
We also source other brands from your reference or your project's approved vendor list.
All brands mentioned are the property of their respective owners. Loire Marine Supply supplies their products through its supply network and is not their official distributor.
Pipe expansion joints and repair kits
Expansion joints
We supply pipe expansion joints in rubber, metal or PTFE, including Willbrandt, Dilatoflex and Elaflex. They absorb thermal expansion, vibration and misalignment between a pump, engine or equipment and the pipework. Tell us the size, flange standard (DIN, ANSI or JIS), face-to-face length, pressure, temperature and fluid.
Pipe repair kits
To repair a leak without shutting down: repair clamps, sleeves and composite wrap and resin repair kits, including the Mareflex MF40 pipe repair kit, DENSO tapes and mastics, and Wencon and Belzona repair resins. A fast fix on board or on site, pending or instead of pipe replacement.
Industries we support
The Loire estuary brings together a wide range of industries: LNG terminal, refining, shipbuilding, aerospace and food processing. Our location lets us respond quickly to these sites' maintenance needs.
Safety and steam
What Loire Marine Supply does for you
Identification: from a reference, rating plate, photo or data sheet.
Selection: valve type, materials, DIN or ANSI standard, actuator type and accessories.
Equivalents: when an original valve is no longer available or has a long lead time.
Approved vendor lists: we follow your project's approved manufacturer list.
Documentation: data sheets, material certificates and traceability documents on request.
Delivery: to industrial sites, yards, ports or on board ships.
Protect your valves against corrosion
In marine or corrosive environments, valves, flanges and fittings deteriorate quickly. Loire Marine Supply is a DENSO distributor: DENSO tapes and mastics provide long-lasting protection for flanges, valves and pipe fittings.

Frequently asked questions
Which valve types does Loire Marine Supply supply?
Ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves, safety valves, control valves, plug valves, mixing valves, strainers, cryogenic valves and high-pressure valves.
Do you supply valves for industry, not just marine?
Yes. We supply marine and offshore, as well as energy, oil and gas, chemicals, drinking water and water treatment, and process industries.
Do you supply DIN, ANSI and JIS valves?
Yes. We supply valves to DIN/EN (PN ratings), ANSI/ASME (Class ratings) and JIS (K ratings, common on ships built in Japan and Asia).
Can you supply a ready-to-install automated valve?
Yes. We can supply the valve, actuator and accessories assembled and set, with pneumatic, electric or hydraulic operation.
What is the difference between a single-acting and a double-acting actuator?
A single-acting actuator returns to position by spring when air is removed, so the valve is normally open or normally closed. A double-acting actuator uses air to both open and close.
What do ISO 5211 and NAMUR mean?
ISO 5211 standardises the mounting between valve and actuator. NAMUR (VDI/VDE 3845) standardises the mounting of accessories such as solenoid valves and limit switch boxes on the actuator.
Do you supply valves for LNG?
Yes. We supply cryogenic valves for liquefied natural gas and other very low temperature liquefied gases.
Can you replace a valve that is no longer made?
Yes. From the reference, rating plate or dimensions, we source the original valve or a compatible equivalent.
Do you work to an approved vendor list?
Yes. We can work to your project's or site's approved supplier list.
Do you supply certified hull valves?
Yes. For ships, we supply hull valves (sea inlets, overboard discharges, shipside valves) certified by the required classification society, with their certificates.
Which valve and actuator brands do you supply?
More than 50 brands, including Emerson (Fisher, Keystone, Vanessa, Crosby, Bettis, Biffi), KSB and KSB AMRI, Flowserve, Velan, Crane, Kitz, Masoneilan, Samson, IMI CCI, Valmet Neles, Jamesbury, Spirax Sarco, Gestra, Gemü, Bürkert, AVK, Bray, Rotork, Auma, Bernard Controls, Matre Maskin, Shipham, IMI Truflo Marine, Wärtsilä and Econosto.
Do you supply pipe expansion joints?
Yes. We supply rubber, metal and PTFE expansion joints with DIN, ANSI or JIS flanges, including Willbrandt, Dilatoflex and Elaflex.
Do you supply pipe repair kits?
Yes. We supply repair clamps, sleeves and composite wrap and resin repair kits, including the Mareflex MF40 kit, DENSO tapes and Wencon and Belzona resins, to fix leaks on board or on site.
Do you deliver valves on board ships?
Yes. We deliver to industrial sites, yards, ports and on board ships, in France and worldwide.
